    WELCOME

We’re glad you found us! Joining a parish is an important decision in a family’s lifetime. It marks a new beginning in one’s faith journey. At St. Anne, our mission is very simple: to foster discipleship – where everyone comes to know, love and serve God and neighbor. This mission is rooted in growing in relationship with our Lord, and bringing the Light of our Lord to others.

    FAITH & FUN

The teen years are crucial to the faith formation of young people. Today, so many things are competing for teens’ attention. That is why we offer a variety of programs for teens in 6th through 12th grade. Through formal class time, social activities, retreats, mission trips and conferences, teens connect with their peers and learn about their faith in a relevant way. At this age, we also stress lifelong discipleship – where they come to know, love and serve God and neighbor, and what this means for life-long commitment.

    JOIN US!

Often, the best path to growing in faith and in discipleship is to have a sense of belonging- a small faith group with which you can share experiences, the ups and downs of life, and learn from each other. We have several adult programs that you can take advantage of.

  • STEWARDSHIP

    CALLED TO SERVE

Serving comes in many forms. We are called to serve in time, talent or treasure. By serving, we carry out the command to “love God and neighbor.” As you consider how you might serve in the parish, consider your gifts, interests and talents. While a minimum of three hours per month of service is suggested, our biggest hope is that you find a ministry you’re passionate about. We also ask that parishioners give generously, financially.

  • SACRAMENTS

    THE CORE OF OUR FAITH

The Sacraments are the lifeblood of our parish, distinguish us as Catholics, and provide the grace needed in this earthly life. According to our catechism, “Sacraments celebrated worthily of faith, confer the grace they signify. They are efficacious because in them Christ himself is at work: it is he who baptizes, he who acts in his sacraments in order to communicate the grace that each sacrifice signifies."

Many people who are visiting and looking for a parish have practical questions about the faith, the sacraments or getting in touch with the parish. Below are some frequently-asked questions that may provide you with helpful information.

How do I prepare for Marriage?

Registered and engaged couples are welcomed into the homes of married couples and participate in discussing issues relevant to marriage after taking the FOCCUS inventory (Facilitating Open Couple Communication, Understanding & Study). We kindly ask that you call the Parish Office at least six months in advance. Fr. Bob or Deacon Rich will explain the process of marriage preparation, and you will have the opportunity to register for marriage preparation classes. The classes comprise a combination of compatibility assessment along with one-to-one discussion opportunities with your fiancé and support from the Marriage Ministry.

How do I get my marriage annulled or blessed?

Annulments: Periodically, the Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee offers workshops regarding invalidation and annulments. The Nazareth Project supports the work of the Tribunal in this ministry. For further information, please contact the Tribunal directly. You can find their website here.

Blessings: To get your marriage blessed, call the Parish Office and make an appointment with Fr. Bob to discuss your circumstances. Call Fr. Bob Weighner at (262) 942-8300 or (262) 331-0906 or e-mail at rweighner@saint-anne.org.

How do I get marriage counseling?

Contact Fr. Bob Weighner at (262) 942-8300 or (262) 331-0906 for referrals to local Christian marriage counselors.

How do I go to Confession?

Going to Confession is not as daunting as it seems! A great guide to Confession can be found here. To help you with an examination of conscience, a resource that might help can be found here.

You can also view the helpful tutorial video on Confession:
https://youtu.be/Ib8pzvnnL20

Reconciliation is offered at St. Anne on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays beginning at 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. or by appointment by contacting the Parish Office.

How do I dedicate a Mass to a loved one?

Simply call the Parish Office to determine the date and time of Mass for which you’d like to dedicate to your loved one. Recommended stipend for Mass dedication is $10.

How do I register my child for religious education?

Registering your child in religious education is a wonderful way to have them form a lasting relationship with God at an early age. At the school-age level, we offer grade-specific programs, typically on Saturday or Sunday (around Mass times, making it convenient for you) or on Wednesdays. Registration typically begins in the May timeframe and concludes in August. You may direct your inquiries to Fr. Bob Weighner at (262) 942-8300 or (262) 331-0906.

How do I prepare my child for Baptism?

We kindly ask that you call the Parish at least two months in advance. Registered parents wishing to baptize their child will enroll in a baptism reflection where you’ll learn the true meaning of baptism and what your duties are as Catholic parents.

How do I prepare my child for the Sacrament of First Holy Communion?

The Sacrament of First Holy Communion is a crucial step towards a lifelong relationship with the Holy Trinity. It is one of the most special moments in a child’s sacramental formation. As Catholic parents, we ask that you attend Sunday Mass regularly and be an active participant in your child’s preparation. Registration for Sacramental preparation usually begins in the July timeframe. However, you may direct your inquiries to Fr. Bob Weighner at (262) 942-8300 or (262) 331-0906. You can also visit our First Eucharist/First Reconciliation Prep page  for more information.

How do I prepare my child for the Sacrament of Reconciliation?

Preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation goes hand-in-hand with the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. As Catholic parents, we ask that you attend Sunday Mass regularly. Registration for Sacramental preparation usually begins in the July timeframe. However, you may direct your inquiries to Fr. Bob Weighner at (262) 942-8300 or (262) 331-0906. You can also visit our First Eucharist/Reconciliation Prep page for more information.
