All are invited to a presentation on Assisted Suicide

This October, during Respect Life Month, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee is launching a month-long campaign, Love - Until the Last Breath, to educate Catholics about assisted suicide. Archbishop Jeffrey Grob is deeply concerned about this issue and is asking our parishes to partner in this effort. 

Assisted suicide is becoming increasingly accepted in our culture. It became legal in Illinois last year, and Wisconsin recently proposed similar legislation. 

Our goal is to provide Catholics with a better understanding of the Church's teaching on the dignity of every human life and why the Church cannot support assisted suicide. Just as importantly, the campaign is an opportunity to reflect on how we can better care for and accompany people who are suffering, and support their families and caregivers. 

Who should attend: 

• All Catholics
• Elderly or those who care for the elderly
• Caretakers or family members of those who struggle with mental illness
• Those who have been hospitalized
• Those with chronic medical issues

6:30 p.m. A Presentation from a representative of the Archdiocese Bioethics Committee
