Our Youth Ministry is guided by the four pillars of the Catholic Church found in the Catechism: Creed, Sacraments, Moral Life and Prayer. These shape the way we grow as disciples and live out our faith in community.
We are especially moved by the words of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew:
"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me." (Matthew 25:35-36)

In this spirit, we strive to recognize Christ in one another -- especially in those most in need. Our ministry partners with several religious communities who inspire us to live out this mission, including the Missionaries of Charity, the Carmelites of the Divine Heart of Jesus, and the Franciscans of Our Lady of the Angels in Chicago.
We also look to the inspiring witness of the recently canonized St. Pier Giorgio Frassati and St. Carlo Acutis. Their lives remind us that holiness is possible for young people today --- whether through serving the poor with joy, or using technology and everyday opportunities to point others toward Christ. They stand as powerful examples of how to live our faith with courage, authenticity and love.
